New Delhi: Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) celebrated its grand 30th Foundation Day at its Dwarka campus. On this special occasion, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena graced the event as the Chief Guest, highlighting the institute’s significant role in shaping future leaders and promoting academic excellence.
During the event, distinguished alumni of LBSIM were felicitated for their notable contributions across various industries. Among them were Charu Agarwal (2001-03), Director, Sodexo Global Hub; Nikhil Sarin (2002-04), National Head, Honda Cars India Ltd.; Pulkit Goyal (2009-11), Founder and MD, Preferred Square Analytics; Dr. Pulkit Ahuja (2010-12), Founder and CEO, ProxG; and Vineet Ranjan (2010-12), Head, Risk and Strategic Alliances, Fund. Their achievements exemplify the institute’s impact in shaping professionals who drive change and innovation in their respective domains.
Speaking at the event, the Lt. Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, said, “Lal Bahadur Shastri ji was a leader of exceptional stature. Addressing the students, he remarked, “Every graduate of this institute carries forward the spirit of Shastri Ji. Simplicity and honesty are not weaknesses but our greatest strengths. Institute Director Prof. Praveen Gupta highlighted the institution’s strides in innovation, leadership, and value-based education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the evolving corporate landscape. Faculty members were also honored for their contributions to academic excellence.
