Every Home Matters: Mayuresh Takes Up a 30-Day Mission to Help Vedansh Raise ₹9 Crore

When creators use their reach for a cause, social media can become more than a platform for content, it can become a voice for families who have nowhere else to turn.

With this thought, a new initiative, “Every Home Matters,” has been started to bring attention to stories that often remain unheard.

The initiative aims to highlight families facing serious medical challenges where treatment costs run into crores and where the affected families may not have the reach, resources or public platform required to raise the funds themselves. The idea is simple: if a story deserves attention but does not have a voice loud enough to reach people, the initiative hopes to give it one.

Vedansh is the first case being taken up under Every Home Matters.

As part of the initiative, Mayuresh travelled to Haryana to personally meet Vedansh’s family and understand their situation. The team went through the available information and verified the details before deciding to bring the story to a wider audience.

The initial plan was to create a video and use the reach of social media to help the family. But after understanding the scale of the financial requirement, Mayuresh felt that one video would not be enough.

That led to a bigger decision, to turn Vedansh’s case into a 30-day mission.

The objective is to give people enough time to understand Vedansh’s story, know his family and the treatment he requires, and come forward to support the fundraising effort.

The current fundraising target is ₹9 crore, an amount required towards Vedansh’s treatment and the injection that he needs. However, the final treatment cost could potentially be affected by changes in the US dollar exchange rate, since the cost of such treatment is linked to international pricing. As the dollar has strengthened compared with the earlier estimate, the eventual requirement may rise beyond the current ₹9 crore target.

For now, the focus remains on reaching the ₹9 crore mark.

The campaign has also seen several creators come forward to amplify Vedansh’s story. Ansh, Aradhya, Raj, Harsh Rane, Focused Indian and others have joined Mayuresh in spreading awareness and encouraging their audiences to support the cause.

The response demonstrates the potential of creator-led campaigns when multiple voices come together for something larger than themselves.

The fundraising goal may sound overwhelming, but the campaign is trying to break it down into a number that people can relate to. If 74,000 people contribute ₹1,000 each, it can generate ₹7.4 crore. With more people coming forward and contributions of different amounts, the campaign hopes to bridge the remaining gap and reach the ₹9 crore target.

The message behind Every Home Matters is not that everyone has to contribute a large amount. It is that everyone can play a part, whether through a donation, sharing the story or helping it reach someone who can make a larger contribution.

For those who wish to contribute, the official UPI ID shared for the campaign is:

supportvedans6@yesbank

Donors can also contribute through the official QR code available on Mayuresh’s Stories, Highlights and banners featured in his videos. Those who need the QR code can comment “QR” in Mayuresh’s comment section and receive it through his official account.

People have also been urged to remain cautious while making payments. The official UPI ID and the QR code shared through Mayuresh’s official account are the only authorised payment methods being promoted for the campaign. Donors should avoid making payments to any other UPI ID or QR code circulated through comments, messages or unrelated accounts.

At its heart, Every Home Matters is an attempt to ensure that a family’s lack of reach does not mean their story goes unheard.

Vedansh’s case is the beginning of the initiative. The larger vision is to identify and amplify more such stories families fighting difficult medical battles, facing enormous treatment costs and looking for a way to reach people who can help.

For Mayuresh and the creators supporting the campaign, the next 30 days are about one goal: getting Vedansh’s story in front of as many people as possible and raising the ₹9 crore currently required for his treatment.

Because sometimes, one story can change everything, if enough people choose to listen.
