Bengaluru, September 10, 2026: Rise Against Hunger India has been honoured with the prestigious “Asia’s Best NGO Initiative & Social Impact Award” at the Asia Leadership Awards 2026, presented by Times Aspire in Bengaluru. The recognition celebrates the organisation’s sustained efforts to address hunger, improve nutrition, strengthen community resilience, and create lasting social impact across vulnerable communities in India.
The award recognises Rise Against Hunger India’s commitment to building a hunger-free India through a combination of nutrition support, community empowerment, emergency response, livelihood support, and collective action. Through partnerships with communities, nonprofit organisations, corporates, volunteers, and government stakeholders, the organisation continues to work towards addressing both immediate food needs and the underlying causes of hunger.
Over the years, Rise Against Hunger India has reached millions of people through programmes focused on maternal and child nutrition, food and nutrition security, livelihoods, education, emergency response, and support for vulnerable communities.
