IIM Lucknow-incubated deep-tech company wins two national AI awards in two months while building sovereign AI across Voice, Vision and Documents
BENGALURU, India – 03 September 2026: Right Left AI (RLAI), an IIM Lucknow-incubated deep-tech company building sovereign multimodal AI for governments and regulated enterprises, has won two national AI awards within two months: “Most Promising AI Startup of the Year” in Delhi and “Most Innovative AI Product of the Year” for SatyaDoc AI in Bengaluru at the Data & Gen AI Summit & Awards 2026.

AI That Matters When It Becomes Human
The biggest AI story is not how quickly a model can answer a question. It is what happens when intelligence is put into the systems people depend on every day – when a genuine citizen claim must be separated from a forged document; when a command centre has to understand a low-quality camera feed; when a person who cannot hear or speak needs to communicate; when a frontline employee needs to learn a new skill; or when a supply chain has to anticipate what will run out before it does.
RLAI is building AI for those moments. Its platforms are designed to operate inside the environments where trust, privacy, reliability and control are non-negotiable – including on-premise, air-gapped and low-connectivity deployments, with data residency in India.

“The real test of AI is not a perfect demo. It is whether the system still works when the camera is old, the document is messy, connectivity is poor, and the consequences of failure are real. That is why we build our own technology – so we can engineer it for the world people actually live in.” – Prashant Malviya, Co-Founder & CTO, Right Left AI
One Technology. Many Real-World Problems.
Right Left AI (RLAI)’s approach is to build core intelligence once and engineer it for the realities of India – imperfect documents, low-quality cameras, multiple languages, constrained connectivity and environments where sensitive data cannot simply be sent to an external cloud. The same proprietary technology foundation powers a portfolio spanning document trust, computer vision, voice, accessibility, workforce skilling and supply-chain intelligence.
Sovereignty Is Not a Feature. It Is the Foundation.
Right Left AI (RLAI) was founded around a simple conviction: a nation should not have to rent the intelligence that runs its most important systems. Its platforms are engineered to run on infrastructure controlled by the organisation, with on-premise and air-gapped deployment options and data residency within India. The company positions this as a technology and trust architecture – not merely a hosting choice.
The company’s ambition is to become a sovereign intelligence layer for India’s institutions: AI built in India, owned in India, deployable where the data lives, and capable of serving the world.
“India does not need another AI company that simply puts an interface on top of someone else’s intelligence. We need to build intelligence that we understand, control and can trust in the environments that matter most. Our ambition is simple: build in India, own the technology, and take it to the world.” – Niraj Singh, Co-Founder & CEO, Right Left AI
Three Founders. One Bet on Indian Deep Tech.
Together, the founding team brings more than 50 years of combined experience in building and deploying technology. Right Left AI (RLAI) is bootstrapped and incubated at the Enterprise Incubation Centre of IIM Lucknow.
“AI creates real value only when it leaves the lab and improves how people work and live. Our focus is to take sovereign AI into the hands of governments and enterprises helping them build trust, serve citizens better, protect data and make faster, smarter decisions.” – Saurabh Mishra, Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer, Right Left AI
Niraj Singh – Co-Founder & CEO : Previously helped to build and scale a technology startup in Silicon Valley. Leads RLAI’s company vision, business strategy and mission to build sovereign multimodal AI for demanding real-world environments.
Prashant Malviya – Co-Founder & CTO : A technology architect with two decades of experience designing global technology systems. Leads RLAI’s core engineering, AI architecture and proprietary technology development.
Saurabh Mishra – Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer :Has led multi-crore AI transformation programmes across government ministries and Fortune 500 enterprises. Leads market expansion, enterprise adoption and strategic growth.
What the Awards Recognise
The Delhi award recognised RLAI as “Most Promising AI Startup of the Year”. The Bengaluru award recognised SatyaDoc AI as “Most Innovative AI Product of the Year”. Together, the awards reflect the company’s focus on building proprietary technology and taking it into production rather than stopping at AI demonstrations.
RLAI’s platforms are being positioned for governments and regulated enterprises across BFSI, Retail and FMCG, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Pharma & Wellness. The company’s client and partner ecosystem includes names such as Titan, Tanishq, Honda and Hyundai.
“Our vision is not just to build AI products. It is to build an intelligence ecosystem that solves real problems while ensuring that the technology, data and capability remain in the hands of the organisations and the country that depend on them.” – The Founding Team, Right Left AI
The Vision
“A nation cannot run on borrowed intelligence.”
That is the idea behind Right Left AI. The name reflects the company’s belief that meaningful intelligence needs both sides: the right to imagine what is possible, and the left to engineer it into something real.
RLAI’s long-term ambition is to build the sovereign intelligence layer India’s institutions can rely on – helping technology protect trust, expand access, improve safety, strengthen productivity and solve problems that directly affect people’s lives.
